Don’t know about polyimide film yet?

Polyimide is a kind of high polymer with the advantages of wide applicable temperature, chemical corrosion resistance and high strength. In 1961, DuPont introduced the product of polyimide. As a special engineering material, polyimide has been widely used in aviation, aerospace, microelectronics, nano, liquid crystal, separation membrane, laser and other fields today.

Polyimide film (PI film), also known as “gold film”, is a thin-film insulating material with good performance. After polycondensation in the solvent and casting into a film and then imidization, it is yellow and transparent, with a relative density of 1.39~1.45. The polyimide film has excellent high and low temperature resistance, electrical insulation, adhesion, and radiation resistance. , medium resistance, can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -269 ° C ~ 280 ° C, and can reach a high temperature of 400 ° C in a short time. The glass transition temperatures were 280°C, 385°C and 500°C or higher, respectively. The tensile strength at 20°C is 200MPa, and it is greater than 100MPa at 200°C. It is especially suitable for flexible printed circuit board substrates and various high temperature resistant electrical and electrical insulation materials.
